# Nick Freund joins TWG as Manager of Revenue Integrity

[The Wilshire Group](https://thewilshiregroup.net/), a leading healthcare consulting firm, is proud to announce and welcome [Nick Freund](https://thewilshiregroup.net/team/nick-freund/) to its team as a Manager of Revenue Integrity. In this role, Nick will focus on engagements with healthcare organizations with a goal of increasing efficiency and ease of use while reducing revenue leakage across the Revenue Cycle.
“In today’s highly-complex integrated healthcare organizations, it is vital to have a perspective that takes into account the entire scope of revenue cycle activity, not just a single function or workflow,” said Hank Smither, Managing Partner of The Wilshire Group. “Nick will join the other members of our Revenue Integrity team, as we continue to recruit the “best of the best” to build the top consulting firm in the industry. Nick brings the knowledge and experience needed to ensure our clients continue to receive the high-level, hands-on support they expect from The Wilshire Group team.”
Previously, Nick was a Consultant Advisor with Sagacious Consultants and Accenture where he focused on strategic revenue and charging optimization initiatives, maximizing value for his clients across their revenue cycle. Nick has led full revenue cycle initiatives to improve key metrics and financial performance. These initiatives spanned from clinical charging, to billing and denial management. He has worked collaboratively with leadership across clinical services, revenue integrity, IT, and billing offices to correct workflow gaps, solidify reconciliation and charging processes, identify revenue leakage, and deliver provider metrics and dashboards.
Prior to Sagacious, Nick worked at Epic on the Hospital Billing implementation team. He has worked with numerous clients of all sizes managing installations, initiating revenue investigation projects, and auditing billing office workflows for process and system build improvement.
Nick received his BS in Business Economics and Management from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and now resides in Houston, TX. Outside of work, Nick enjoys spending time outdoors, including: hunting, fishing, kayaking, hiking, and camping.
