LOS ANGELES (PRWEB) May 02, 2018 - The Wilshire Group, a leading healthcare consulting firm, has added Matt Perron to its team as a Manager of Patient Access. In this role, Matt will focus on engagements with healthcare organizations with a goal of increasing efficiency and ease of use within patient access.

Previously, Matt was on the HIS Strategy team at Experian Health where his role was working with Epic clients to optimize workflows related to Real Time Eligibility (RTE). Matt developed implementation audits for clients to ensure projects were following best practices while also creating an optimization strategy for existing clients. Some key areas of focus for Matt were improving ease of use and automation for eligibility processes, developing strategies for returning insurance benefits, and increasing front-end payment collection.

Prior to joining Experian Health, Matt worked at Epic for 7 years on the patient access implementation team. Matt worked with numerous clients of all sizes implementing scheduling, registration and ADT modules. He helped clients find innovative ways to improve their processes while simplifying workflows for end users. Matt was the implementation success owner for scheduling and referrals at Epic where his primary role was ensuring success for all clients implementing those products.

Matt received his BBA in Management and Human Resources from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and he now resides in Denver, Colorado. Outside of work, Matt loves to spend time outdoors hiking or road biking in the mountains of Colorado and enjoys music, whether it be going to concerts or singing in his a cappella choir group.
